The Kalamunda Dramatic Society and the City of Bayswater have teamed up to bring you this special event celebrating 2016, as the year the world commemorates 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare.

Lucy Dreyer (nee Eyre), a woman of many hats: actor, director, playwright, staunch supporter of community theatre and all things KADS - not to mention, her two year tenure as President of KADS - will be presenting you with an exciting evening full of Shakespearean delights, referencing her experience with directing “Othello” during the Hills Shakespeare festival in 2014 and how she sees Shakespeare's world in today's modern colours.

Featuring a talk, a showcase of photographs from past plays, a reading or two and time for your questions about Shakespeare and KADS, this is sure to be a lovely way to celebrate the lasting legacy of the world's greatest playwright.

This is a free event, however, seats are limited so please phone (08) 9271 234 to book. Refreshments will be served 20 minutes prior to the event commencing.
